This Privacy Policy describes how Care Directives, LLC (“Care Directives,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the myDox application (the “Application”), a consumer-facing platform developed by Care Directives. By accessing or using myDox, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
myDox is a secure digital platform that allows users to store, manage, and share important personal documents (e.g. legal, financial, medical, identification, and family records). Users may organize documents by category or by family member and may opt to share or revoke access to those documents at any time. myDox also enables users in the United States to share and access (in available markets only) their medical records nationwide through our integration with QHIN.
We value your privacy. We do not sell your data. Ever.
We use a combination of physical, administrative, and technical safeguards—including encryption (SSL), access controls, and secure cloud storage providers—to protect your data. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

We may use aggregate or de-identified data for product development or usage analysis, but we will never sell or share personally identifiable information for marketing purposes.
We may share your information only under the following circumstances:
If you choose to opt in, myDox allows you to aggregate and access your medical records from participating providers across the U.S. through Carequality/QHIN. Prior to activation, you must verify your identity through our third-party ID verification vendor. You may also opt to allow providers to query for your records at the point of care. You may revoke this access at any time from your settings.
If you grant a third party emergency access to a myDox user’s documents (e.g., by a legal directive or user-specified authorization), that individual must also complete identity verification via our third-party provider before access is granted. The information collected during this process includes personal identifiers and may include a photo of government-issued ID or biometric information depending on the verification method.
myDox is not intended for direct use by children under the age of 13. However, adult users may upload and manage documents on behalf of their children as part of a family account. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children.
myDox may include links to external websites or embedded tools. This Privacy Policy does not govern third-party services. Please review their policies before using those services.
You may update or delete your personal information or documents at any time through your account settings. We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to fulfill our services or comply with legal obligations.
To request account deletion, email us at: support@mydoxapp.io
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email and/or an in-app alert before the changes take effect. Your continued use of myDox constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
